Portland Harbor Superfund Paddle

Celebrate 30 years of Willamette Riverkeeper with an on-water exploration of the Portland Harbor Superfund site. Launching from Cathedral Park, we’ll paddle the harbor while learning about its history, contamination, cleanup, and the work to protect and restore the Willamette.

Reserve a seat in one of our canoes or bring your own boat.

Then let's keep the celebration going! Join us that evening aboard the Portland Spirit for our 30th Anniversary Celebration. We’d love to have you register for both events!

Saturday, October 3rd | 9:30am - 12:30pm

Please meet at the Cathedral Park Boat Ramp, parking lot entrance located at the end of Baltimore Street in St. Johns, Portland. We will gather on the lawn next to the bathrooms to stage paddlecraft and run through a safety briefing before launching our boats.

What to Bring:

  • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes that you are comfortable getting dirty and wet.

  • Sunscreen, drinking water, and layers that are appropriate for the weather.
