The Wild & Scenic Film Festival celebrates the beauty of our natural world and inspires action to protect it. As a fundraiser for Willamette Riverkeeper, proceeds support efforts to restore and protect the Willamette River and its tributaries. This event provides an opportunity to connect with local environmental advocates while enjoying an evening of thought-provoking river-focused documentary shorts.
This event will feature a diversity of short-form documentaries that run the gamut from thoughtful requiems for lost habitat to raucous celebrations of recreation and joy along America’s rivers. We will also be screening the trailer for Willamette Riverkeeper’s upcoming 187 Miles of Wonder documentary project.
Event attendees will be entered into a raffle for a selection of wonderful prizes from our dedicated supporters and business sponsors, including a brand-new Yakima kayak rack and merch from various Portland-area sponsors. Please join us for a joyous evening of community, laughing, and learning!
