The Portland Planning Commission will host a public hearing on the updated Proposed Draft for the CEI Hub Policy Project on December 16th, and we must continue to make it clear that the local community is serious about drawing down toxic fuel storage at the CEI Hub. In advance of the public hearing, community members, environmental advocates, and local residents from a diversity of advocacy groups and neighborhoods will gather for a rally and celebration of our shared commitment to this issue. We will share hot drinks and snacks, listen to several speakers with expert knowledge on the topic, and sing climate carols! We will then attend the hearing as a group, where many of us will share verbal testimony on the issue. Full details can be found at the link below.
